Brand kit

Everything you need to write about Nani, embed the logo, or build something that looks at home next to it. If you're shipping a third-party integration, a tutorial, or a press piece, you can use anything on this page without asking.

Name

The product is Nani. The org behind it is NaniDAO. Use Nani in running copy; use NaniDAO when crediting the publisher (App Store listings, repo owners, legal lines).

  • Always capitalised: Nani, not nani or NANI.
  • One word, no hyphen.
  • The bundle identifier is com.thresholdstudio.nani — surface that only when it matters (Keychain entries, code signing).

One-liner

Nani is a self-custody Ethereum wallet for macOS with an on-device AI assistant.

If you need shorter:

  • 12 words — A self-custody Ethereum wallet for macOS with an on-device AI assistant.
  • 6 words — Local AI crypto wallet for macOS.
  • Tagline — Your money, your model, your Mac.

Nani's mark is the favicon set shipped with the site:

  • /favicon.ico — multi-resolution ICO for browsers and Windows targets.
  • /favicon-32x32.png, /favicon-16x16.png — PNG variants for embeds.
  • /apple-touch-icon.png — 180×180 PNG for iOS home-screen pins and rich link previews.

Grab them straight from nani.ooo or the nani-macos repo. Don't redraw the mark, recolour it, or wrap it in a container that crops the corners.

Colors

Nani has two palettes — a dark default and a light fallback that matches prefers-color-scheme: light. Both are anchored on a single cyan accent.

Dark (default)

RoleHexNotes
Background#0a0a0aBody. Not pure black — leaves room for video bleed.
Surface#000000Cards, modals.
Foreground#e0e0e0Body text.
Title#ffffffHeadings.
Accent#00ffffLinks, focus states, the cyan glow.
Muted#666666Secondary copy.

Light

RoleHexNotes
Background#fafafaBody. Off-white, not paper.
Foreground#444444Body text.
Title#111111Headings.
Accent#0099aaSame cyan, dimmed for contrast on light.
Muted#888888Secondary copy.

The accent is the only chromatic colour Nani uses — everything else is greyscale. Don't introduce a second hue.

Typography

Inter, with the system stack as fallback:

font-family: "Inter", system-ui, -apple-system, sans-serif;

Weights in use: 400 (body), 500 (UI), 600 (titles). Inline code is a monospace stack (SF Mono / Menlo / Consolas).

For headlines we lean on tracking and weight rather than display faces. If you need to set Nani in a deck or an article, Inter at -0.01em tracking will look right.

Mascot

Nani has six expressions, shipped as looping .webm clips at nani.ooo/videos/:

StateWhen to use
idle.webmDefault. Use as the static mascot.
focused.webmWhen the assistant is reading or thinking quietly.
thinking.webmLong-running tool calls.
trading.webmSwap, send, or quote flows.
success.webmAfter a confirmed transaction.
alarmed.webmErrors, blocked-by-policy, scam warnings.

Loop them muted with playsInline — they're designed to read at small sizes (down to ~64px) and shouldn't ever play with audio.

Voice

Nani's writing voice across the app, the site, and the docs:

  • Plain. Short sentences. No marketing verbs.
  • Concrete. "Touch ID protects the key" — not "industry-leading biometric security."
  • Sharp on tradeoffs. When something costs you privacy, say so. When it costs you money, say so.
  • Calm on safety. A wallet that talks about itself like a fortress sounds like it's hiding something. Describe the mechanism, not the vibe.

Things to avoid: "revolutionary," "next-generation," "AI-powered" as a standalone claim, emoji in product copy, exclamation marks outside of error states.

Don'ts

  • Don't pair the mark with another logo on the same row without a divider — it reads as a co-brand we haven't agreed to.
  • Don't recolour the mascot or remix expressions. The six states are the set.
  • Don't write "Nani.ai" or "NaniAI" — Nani is a wallet that uses AI, not an AI brand.
  • Don't imply Nani is custodial, hosted, or cloud-based. The whole pitch is the opposite. See Security.

Assets

Everything on this page lives in the public site repo and the macOS repo. If you need a vector mark, a press kit, or higher-resolution renders that aren't published yet, open an issue at github.com/NaniDAO/nani-macos/issues and tag it brand.
